Young farmers set to sing

Members of Chipping Young Farmers’ club enjoyed a very interesting night recently.

They travelled to Altham, to Seaways Services, printers of bottles for the manufacturing industry and following a very interesting insight into the business and hearing about the history and the companies they print for, Vicki Seed gave a vote of thanks.

Members are practising swimming for the annual county competition at Padiham pool on December 19, have also recently supported Lancashire YFC’s Bottle Bingo in Chipping Village Hall and club representatives are due to attend the County AGM at Ramsbottom tomorrow where they hope to receive constructive feedback from the Club of the Year competition.

The next meeting on December 16 is the annual charity carol singing night around the village and outlying farms collecting for Leukaemia Research and the North West Air Ambulance and if you would like a visit please don’t hesitate to contact choirmaster Richard Seed on 01995 61044 so the club can plan the route.
