Brig boss keen on a Dunn deal for former Rover
Just days after he was sacked from his role as manager at League 1 club Oldham Athletic, Dunn revealed his interest in extending his playing career at the non-league NPL First Division North club.
Bamber Bridge boss Neil Crowe says he has not spoken to Dunn, but revealed that the 36-year-old ex-Premier League midfielder is friends with his assistant manager Neil Reynolds.

Hide AdAnd so Crowe told Brig fans to ‘watch this space’ for a possible surprise coup.
He said: “I did hear that he said he wanted to come to Bamber Bridge.
“It is a possibility and it could happen.
“Of course we would welcome him. Watch this space...”
Brig had yet another game called off due to a frozen pitch on Saturday but they are in Doodson Cup second round action at league rivals Witton Albion tonight.
And due to the mass postponements due to the extreme weather conditions over the winter and a piling fixture list Crowe says the league is his priority.

Hide AdHe said: “It has been frustrating. Since we started playing again we have done well.
“We have picked up three clean sheets and three wins and we have got a bit of momentum going.
“There will be a pitch inspection today. It is our last cup competition but we have 22 league games to play in just 15 weeks.
“It is good to have a run in the cup but we have a lot of games left and we need to concentrate on the league.”

Hide AdJoe Booth (knee) and Brett Ormerod (calf) will miss the cup clash.
On Saturday Brig travel to on-fire Farsley Celtic who have won all of their last nine games and are just two points and one place above Brig at 13th in the league table.
Crowe said: “They have been on a terrific run recently and we are expecting a tough game.”
