Garstang FC will face Manchester League opposition in the next round of this season’s Lancashire Shield.
Having dispensed of Lostock St Gerards in the first round last weekend, Lee Baker’s side were handed a trip to Bolton County FC in Monday’s draw.
Bolton presently lie in sixth position in division one of the the Manchester League and reached this stage with victory over Ladybridge FC.
They had won four of their opening five league games before losing their next two matches and suffering a Gilgryst Cup exit for good measure.
The match will take place at County’s Radcliffe Road home, Darcy Lever, on Saturday October 1, kicking off at 2pm.
Before then, however, Baker’s players return to West Lancashire League action on Wednesday.
They come up against familiar faces with Lostock returning to the Riverside for the second time in four days (7.30pm) ahead of Saturday’s trip to Fulwood Amateurs.
