Garstang FC have been handed a number of home games with which to begin their West Lancashire League season.

The publication of August’s fixtures for the new campaign see Lee Baker’s men playing at home in five of their opening six matches.

The season gets underway on Saturday, August 6 when Coppull United visit The Riverside.

Four days later brings another home game with the visit of Longridge Town (6.45pm).

Fulwood Amateurs are the visitors on August 17, followed by a visit from Hesketh Amateurs a week later (both 6.45pm).

Baker’s players have their first away game of the season on Saturday, August 27 when they travel to Eagley.

The month concludes with another home game on Wednesday, August 31 when they entertain Crooklands Casuals (6.45pm).

Baker’s players begin their preparation for the new season on Saturday when they play host to Squires Gate (3pm) before travelling to Freckleton next Tuesday evening (7.30pm).
