It is tucked away in around 2.5 acres of countryside surrounded by manicured lawns and a walled garden.

Springfield House is an established wedding venue across Lancashire.

Commercial estate agents Colliers International Manchester say the hotel also enjoys a busy mix of both commercial and leisure trade.

The property, owned by the Cox family, is being sold freehold with goodwill and trade contents.

Colliers said: “The business has been operated by the family since 2010.

“Upon acquiring the hotel, they invested heavily in
the building to improve the
facilities and to create a stylish, comfortable and traditional setting for its guests to enjoy.

“Although the majority of the trade is derived from weddings and short breaks, the hotel has a great underused dining area which can provide a further revenue stream.”

Colliers added: “The current owners choose to casually trade the business around 5.5 days per week, providing an opportunity to further develop trade should a new owner wish to be more commercially minded.

“However, after five years of trading they have made
the decision to sell Springfield House due to ill health.”
