Vintage By the Sea, the Retro fashion, music and cultural extravaganza led by Wayne Hemingway will be returning to Morecambe for a second year in September.
Last year the festival marked the 80th anniversary of the resort’s Midland Hotel, attracting more than 7,000 thousand visitors to the town.

Hide AdHemingway’s festival team – which includes the designer’s wife Geradine and son Jack – are now preparing for a similarly successful event this year.
Wayne said: “We have some wonderfully evocative music, fashion, kids activities beauty, film, art, design and cocktails and food planned – the Vintage team can’t wait to put our dancing shoes on!
“For one glamorous weekend (Saturday and Sunday September 6 and 7) the music, fashion, film, art, design and dance from the 1920s to the 1980s that made Britain the world’s creative and cultural hot bed will be celebrated.
“So get your tickets and come and join us!”
Whether your thing is swing, rockabilly, mod, soul, funk, disco, ska, film, art or design, or if you just want to dress up for a day, the Vintage by the Sea Festival is a delight – a big dressing-up box, a collector’s dream and a joyous creative feast for all ages.”
