This year’s event takes place during the bank holiday weekend of April 29, 30 and May 1 at the club.

The event is growing year by year and five of the north west’s finest bands will take to the stage, starting on the Friday with internationally acclaimed Green Hot Clover, from Manchester.

Saturday’s bands are The Heat and The Blue Pig Orchestra, both from the Fylde, and Sunday sees Preston-based RailerMania playing in the afternoon and The Laser Monkeys from Wigan will close the festival.

This year boasts more than 70 locally crafted beers and ciders and lager has now been added to the list of drinks on offer.

There will also be the usual large selection of gourmet sausages. Entry still remains at £5 for the entire weekend and all proceeds go to local charities.
