After wowing audiences with their last dance extravaganza, The Garstang School of Dance, are set to take the Preston stage again with an all-new fun packed production.
Over 300 dancing divas will present Dance Fever 2014 with a showcase of routines to popular musicals including Mamma Mia, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and many more show favourites.
The two-hour show, now the school’s third to be staged at Preston’s Charter Theatre, features dancers aged two-60 years old, incorporating all genres from modern ballet and tap to streetdance to music from musicals, popular songs and film.
Dance School owner Pam Proctor said: “After months of choosing music, rehearsing and costume fittings the time is nearly here!
“The Garstang school of dance cannot wait to show everyone their production of Dance Fever 2014”
She added: “It promises to be a fabulous display of talent from the local children.”
The school set-up in 2000 and based at Garstang Community Academy, Cabus and Winmarleigh Village Hall, is led by principal Pamela Proctor with her team of teachers Claire Pedder, Claire Whiteside and Rebecca Donnor.
The team stage a production every two years and tickets have been selling fast for the shows on Friday March 14 at 6.30pm and Saturday March 15 at 1.30pm and 6.30pm.
