The young seamstresses at St Aidan’s CE High School, Preesall, turned their talents to poppies ahead of Armistice Day.
Poppies were stitched and glued and embellished with beads by pupils in the school’s textiles club.
The project was so popular members of the club took them home over half term to finish in their own time.
Teacher Joanne Rossall said: “Making the poppies was a great way to encourage creativity and we managed to raise a huge amount for a great cause.
“We are now looking forward to our next project.”
The club raised more than £309 from the sale of their wares.
