You wait all year . . . then two breathtaking Shaolin shows come along together, on the same night!

In Sutra, at Salford Lowry on Tuesday and Wednesday, 17 Buddhist monks take a leap of faith in the first authentic collaboration between Western artists and the 1,500 year old Shaolin Temple.

It sees award-winning choreographer Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui unite with Turner Prize winning artist Antony Gormley, creator of the famous Angel of the North, in choreography accompanied by a live specially-commissioned score for five musicians.
