The Grimsargh Players are set to stage their 36th full length production since “Quiet Weekend” in 1947.
“Love and money” is a farcical comedy by Raymond Hopkins and it will be produced from March 16-19 at the Preston Playhouse.
Derek and Pauline Felton have been married for 27 years and have one child Amy who is boy mad and is into animal rights and lead a
very ordinary life until one night they return home to find they have been burgled.
The fun begins when Joyce the neighbour, Rev Peter Jones, PC Ben Draper, Elizabeth the scene of crime officer get involved, not to mention Tony, Amy’s new boyfriend.
Derek decides the insurance money will be the answer to all his money worries, even if he has to tell a few lies.
The director is Mary Jones assisted by George Mackin. There are also several new members taking part, which is great for the group, is growing all the time.
