Garstang Musical Productions is back this month with its latest offering ‘21st Century Musicals’.
The production, which combines a collection of hits from Broadway and West End shows, will be performed for a four-night run.
The cast will take to the stage with a concert jam-packed with songs from some of the best-loved musicals.
Musical director Alex Phillips and producer/choreographer Zak Yates have selected tracks ranging from Motown medleys to 80s mega mixes. The musical extravaganza will also include songs from ‘Wicked’, ‘Billy Elliot’, ‘Hairspray’ and many more shows.
A spokesmnn said: “With a mixture of beautiful harmony songs from the full cast, amazing individual solos and fantastic dance routines, there is something for everyone.”
The show will be performed at Garstang Community Academy from October 21-24.
The production follows last year’s successful performances of Gilbert and Sullivan’s comic opera story ‘Iolanthe’.
All performances start at 7.30pm and tickets, costing £9, are available from Car Care and Market Place News in Garstang, the Old Station Café in Longridge or from Hannah Walker on 07936 367195.
