A funny night out for the sci-curious

Festival of the Spoken Nerd
Festival of the Spoken Nerd

This might just be a magic formula that adds up to a funny night out.

Festival Of The Spoken Nerd combines science and comedy at 53 Degrees on June 26.

The night will be hosted by award-winning geek songstress Helen Arney, stand-up mathematician Matt Parker and BBC 1
science experiments guy Steve Mould. Expect a celebration of science with comedy, songs, live experiments and unashamed geekiness.

And there’s always time for questions at the end – with extra marks for showing your workings. They have performed in sold-out shows at London’s Bloomsbury Theatre, Shakespeare’s Globe, Hammersmith Apollo, Theatre Royal Haymarket and Udderbelly on the South Bank, plus Green Man and Latitude music festivals, TED and the Edinburgh Fringe.

“Great, funny, clever... Even the heckles at this terrific show are smart!” The Scotsman.
