One of the country’s top-rated comedians returns to Preston next year, for a tour date announced 15 months in advance!
Lee Mack, the multi-award winning star of TV’s Not Going Out and Would I Lie To You?, will be back on the road with his first live tour in four years and has included Preston in his list of dates.
He will appear for on Thursday, November 20, 2014, and tickets went on general sale this morning.
Mack performed three sell-out shows at the Guild Hall in 2010, helping to establish the venue as a prime comedy date. In the next few months, the Guild Hall welcomes several stars of the stand-up circuit, including Jason Manford (October7-8), Bill Bailey (October 17), Sean Lock (November 2) and Sarah Millican (February 19).
For Lee Mack at least it will be something of a home gig, since he was born in Southport, brought up in Blackburn, and honed his comedy skills at a Morecambe holiday camp.
Audiences can expect the trademark brand of high-energy banter, well-crafted gags and sharp one-liners from a comedian who admits to having been diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. Box Office: 0844 844 7710 or www.prestonguildhall.com.
