Cockerham Variety Productions are staging “Agatha Crusty and the Village Hall Murders” this Friday and Saturday, May 20 and 21.
The group has teamed up with St Michael’s Church to provide this murder mystery and hotpot evening to raise funds for both groups, at Cockerham Village Hall.
Celebrated crime novelist Agatha Crusty discovers a number of unexplained deaths when she visits her sister-in-law and gets caught up in the investigation conducted by the incompetent Detective Insp Twigg. As the members of the village hall committee are bumped off one by one, motives and theories abound but Agatha examines the evidence until the inevitable ‘the murderer is someone in this room’ moment!
This is the first time CVP has tackled such a play in which the audience is invited to say ‘whodunit’ in a competition.
Tickets are £15, available at The Manor Inn, Salon 39 or from Bernie on 01524 791882.
