Legendary Irish comic Ed Byrne will bring his latest show to Lancashire later this year.
Byrne will visit Lancaster Grand on Saturday, November 21 at 8pm.
Tickets are already on sale and expected to sell quickly for the comic’s first gig at the Grand.
Ed’s career began during his college years at Strathclyde University, Glasgow.
As student welfare officer he was often called on to MC events in the university and was soon invited to perform at other institutions around Scotland.
He soon quit his studies and started a small comedy club in Glasgow.
From there he moved to London, where he started with open spots and short sets on the club circuit, honing his material and developing the nerdy, curmudgeonly persona we’ve all come to know.
During his 20 years in comedy, Ed has enjoyed huge critical and popular success in the UK and Ireland, and become a regular fixture on television and radio.
Tickets cost £19 and are available from Friday by calling 01524 64695, or visit www.lancastergrand.co.uk or the Grand box office.
