A car was seized by police after the driver admitted he was too young to drive following a crash in Blackburn.

Police attended a crash near Barbara Castle Way in Blackburn on Saturday, December 31.

When the driver was spoken to, officers discovered he was too young to be driving, meaning he had no licence or insurance.

The driver’s welfare and safety were addressed before officers submitted “the relevant paperwork for the multiple offences”.

“Do you know what your child is doing?,” a spokesman for Lancashire Police added.
