Preston woman who stole from Marks and Spencer five times due for sentencing tomorrow

A Preston woman who stole £1,148 worth of goods from a Marks and Spencer store is due to be sentenced tomorrow.

At a hearing at Preston Magistrates, the court was told how Sheena Marie Thomason, 48, of Dawson Walk, admitted visiting the store fives times to steal items of clothing. The first incident took place on Friday, June 10, where she stole 10 denim shorts and four jackets to the value of £408, belonging to Marks and Spencer. On Friday, July 15, she visited again where she took four female dresses and a pair of shoes to the value of £187.50. The next time was on Monday, August 1, where she proceeded to steal two ladies coats to the value of £70.

On another occasion on Saturday, August 13, she took multiple pink jumpers (woman's clothing), to the value of £200.She has since appeared in court and is due for sentencing at Preston Magistrates Court tomorrow.
