Missing Burnley woman who vanished over a week ago found 'safe and well'

An urgent appeal was launched to help find a missing Burnley woman who had disappeared over a week ago.

Police were becoming increasingly concerned for Tamara Tunstall who was reported missing from Burnley.

The 44-year-old had last been seen in the Burnley area on August 28, but officers have now confirmed she was found "safe and well" in Preston today (September 9).

A spokesman for Lancashire Police said: "Good news - missing 44-year-old Tamara was found safe and well in Preston in the early hours of this morning."
